How to install Whatsapp on an iPod Touch and edit the plist to prevent it from deleting when syncing with iTunes

✣ Download Whatsapp from Installous on your Jailbroken iPod Touch.

✣ Now go to Cydia and search for WhatsPad, then install and reboot your device.

Open Whatsapp and you will be prompt to give a valid mobile number, so that it can send you a 3-digit verification code which you will insert to activate the Whatsapp account. A wi-fi connection is necessary since iPod Touch doesn't have any other means of connecting to the internet.

Open app with Winrar. go to payload, Whatsapp.app and open the info.plist. (use .plist editor) scroll down and look for this:

</dict>

Now change the <true/> to <false/>

Do the same for iTunesMetadata.plist.

This prevents the app from deleting when you sync with iTunes.
